Reflective Narrative:
JAPN 300 was a moderate to difficult class at times. It required a lot of work and time in order to keep up with the rigor of the class. However, I enjoyed the class very much, especially the projects that we are assigned. One particular project that I thought was innovative was one where we had to create our gym to present to Japanese investors that are interested in importing business from Western Countries. The gym could be whatever you wanted it to be, as long as it had connections to Japanese Culture and what we learned in class. My personal gym was called Pokemon Dojo and was a gym where people could train with Pokemon and just play with them or relax in an onsen or do karaoke, which is very popular in Japan without the Pokemon. Overall, I really enjoyed the class especially the pacing, it was not too fast or too slow.
